In plain words
RevenueCat is a backend platform that simplifies in-app subscription implementation for mobile app developers. It abstracts the complexity of native app store SDKs, handles purchase verification, and manages subscription lifecycle updates so developers can focus on building their applications rather than managing subscription infrastructure. The service supports iOS and provides API access for integration.

RevenueCat Paywalls2023 · twitter.com · ▲27Hey HN! It's been a while but I wanted to pop back in to share that we just shipped paywalls: a remotely configurable, App Store compliant, and testable paywall out of the box. We shied away from building this for longer than we should have but it's such a huge component of making more money on the app stores we just had to. It relies on native components, but is configurable from the web, which we think achieves a good balance of flexibility and performance. We're just on iOS for now, Android soon, then hopefully more platforms in time.

But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
