What it does
Every small file task on a Mac ends in a browser tab: upload, wait, download, close. Ricly puts 17 of those tools in the Finder right-click menu: send big files as a link, find duplicates, merge PDFs, strip the location data out of a photo, pull the text out of an image, remove a background, upscale, convert, compress. They run on your Mac, and nothing is uploaded unless you deliberately share a file. One price instead of five single-purpose subscriptions.
Right Click. Done. 17 file tools built into the Finder right-click menu: convert, compress, resize, rename, merge and share. Free to start, macOS 13+.
17 file tools, built into the Finder right-click menu. Share a file as a link, convert, compress or clean it up where it already is — no app to open. Three right-clicks, one menu. Menus shown as a new install looks on a free account, with the seven tools Ricly turns on for you. Ricly puts those tools in the menu that is already under your cursor. Right-click the file, pick the tool, it is done where the file lives. Anything that runs on your Mac never leaves it. A video to hand over, product photos to clean up, a folder that has doubled, a stack of documents to hand in as one. Same menu, same gesture. One right-click and the link is on your clipboard. It also lands in your menu bar, where…from usericly.com

Hi HN, I'm excited to share ClickRepeat, a tool I've been building to tackle the tedious, repetitive tasks we all face on our computers. The core idea is simple: you record yourself performing a task once (clicking, typing, navigating apps), and ClickRepeat's AI learns the workflow. Then, you can replay that exact automation anytime, locally or eventually in the cloud. Think of it like creating macros by demonstration, without needing to write scripts or deal with complex RPA setups. For example, you could automate: - Generating weekly reports by pulling data from different apps/sites.…

Hi HN folks, Deep here. I am a design engineer and I have been building Resurf for the past 4 months. Resurf is a local first Mac app for quickly capturing notes, thoughts, ideas, inspiration, links, and files like PDFs and images without switching context. As a design engineer who cares a lot about craft, I built resurf because my “stuff I want to keep” was scattered across tabs, different apps, notes, screenshots, random folders, and I kept losing good references. A lot of tools exist, but I wanted something calm + polished that feels native on Mac (not another file manager). with Resurf…
