What it does

Road511 turns 30+ government 511 systems across the US and Canada into one normalized REST API. Real-time traffic events, 10,000+ camera feeds, DMS sign messages, 621k bridge clearances, truck routes, weight restrictions, weather stations, and EV charging — with native GeoJSON.

Unified REST API covering all 51 US jurisdictions and 13 Canadian provinces and territories — 64 jurisdictions of normalized traffic data. Events, cameras, trucking, analytics, webhooks, GeoJSON-native.

Plenty of engines will draw a truck-legal line on a map. Road511 tells you what the DOTs published on it — bridge clearances against your height, posted weight limits, hazmat rail crossings, weigh stations, closures and weather — as severity-ranked warnings with a projected arrival time. One REST API over 64 US and Canadian jurisdictions, normalized GeoJSON, queryable on its own too. Stop juggling dozens of incompatible 511 sources.
