Launch admin panel in under 5 minutes

Rocketadmin launched on July 5, 2023 with 70 votes, #1,308 of 4,347 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.

What it does

No-code admin panel for easy database management tailored for non-technical backoffice users

Build an admin panel in minutes — connect MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or any database and get auto-generated CRUD UI, permissions, and audit logs. AI assistant included. Free plan available.

The hosted version of Rocketadmin has a new name and a broader platform behind it. Rocketadmin open source stays Rocketadmin. Here's exactly what changes and what stays the same. SiteNova is a platform for building and running complete websites together with the data and admin layer behind them. The Rocketadmin admin-panel engine sits inside it, so you can go from database to full website in one place. The hosted Rocketadmin you use today is SiteNova — the same account, the same data, the same features, under a new name. Everything you rely on keeps working, and it gains website-generation capabilities on top of the admin-panel tooling. SiteNova is the same legal entity that has always been…from rocketadmin.com

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there. I really recommend going through the list, it made my day. [0] "Could you share your personal blog…
