ROXANT MONOCULAR TELESCOPE

High Definition Ultra Light Pocket Telescope

ROXANT MONOCULAR TELESCOPE launched on November 15, 2022 with 2 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.

What it does

It's small enough to fit in a pocket or slip into almost any bag for transit, measuring 5.5 inches long and two inches in diameter. When it's rainy outside, the no-slip handle comes in handy, and it also makes it more difficult to drop this telescope.

A DIY Newtonian reflector telescope with dobsonian mount. A fun to do hobby project taking us closer to the moon and beyond. A lot of plans ahead on how to make it much better and portable but this was the first time me and my friend implemented or rather built a telescope. Have a look at what all we have captured.

Right now, each card costs me about $20 each, but with only a bit more scale, I think I can get that down to $10. In doing this project, I learned how to design electronics and circuit boards. I learned Rust and wrote my first driver, I upped my CAD skills, 3D printed, and did my first resin casting. I generated the images on the…
