Rubik N×N Solver
Solve 3×3–10×10 cubes in your browser with animated 3D steps
What it does
Stuck on a scramble? Rubik N×N Solver turns any cube state into a step-by-step solution you can actually follow — with a 3D cube that animates every move. 👉 Try it: https://8gwifi.org/math/rubik-nxn-solver.jsp We'd love your feedback — especially from speedcubers, teachers, and anyone learning their first algorithm.

A puzzle I couldn't solve for a year – cubers cracked it in an hour16d ago · skimmiq.com · ▲18Dev here. I created a puzzle that looks like Rubik's cube but works differently. Instead of turning faces, closed bands of 12 stickers slide around the cube. Every scramble is solvable. I built on-device AI solvers that solve it in about 60 moves (sometimes substantially less than that) I'm not even a cuber so since I created it I've been thinking that no human can solve it. Until this Tuesday when I showed it to r/Cubers. It took them about an hour to find a solution. The first human solve was about 240 moves using mostly (how they call it) 4-move commutators:…

Speedcube is an open-source platform for speedcubers featuring a Rubik's Cube solver, competition timer, algorithm library, and AI-assisted cube recognition directly in the browser. Built with React, TypeScript, Rust, and Python, the project aims to become an all-in-one platform for cubers—from beginners to competitive solvers. http://github.com/williamisnotdefined/rubiks-cube-solver/

I went down the rabbit hole on a side project and ended up building this: Strange Attractors(https://blog.shashanktomar.com/posts/strange-attractors). It’s built with three.js. Working on it reminded me of the little "maths for fun" exercises I used to do while learning programming in early days. Just trying things out, getting fascinated and geeky, and being surprised by the results. I spent way too much time on this, but it was extreme fun. My favorite part: someone pointed me to the Simone Attractor on Threads. It is a 2D attractor and I asked GPT to extrapolate it to…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
