Run Claude Code sessions on Linear issues via two MCP servers
A short tutorial on combining the Linear MCP and the local Lanes MCP, so you can pull tickets and start agent sessions on them directly from chat.
Run Claude Code sessions on Linear issues via two MCP servers launched on April 30, 2026 with 5 votes, #1,846 of 21,248 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
In this tutorial we'll walk through how to use the official Linear MCP and the local Lanes MCP together, so that an agent can pull issues out of Linear and spin up a session on them directly. The interesting part is that last word: directly. Once a Linear ticket lands on your Lanes board, starting a Claude Code, Codex, or shell session against it is one prompt away in the same chat. No copy-paste, no window swap, no second tool to learn. The mechanic is simple. An agent that has both MCP servers connected can read your Linear backlog, drop selected tickets onto your local Lanes board, kick off a session in a fresh git worktree, and then sync the outcome back to Linear when it's done. Hey HN, I noticed there are 1,000+ MCP skills on GitHub with zero way for creators to charge for them. So I built Agent37. Selling Claude skills today means asking customers to download your skill, set up Claude Code on their laptops, configure MCP servers, and pray it works. No trial, no updates, often you're just handing over the source. Agent37 lets creators upload a skill, share a link, and anyone can try it instantly (no Claude account needed). Built-in Stripe, creators keep 80%. Looking for feedback on the approach. Would you use something like this?

Codemcp – Claude Code for Claude Pro subscribers – ditch API bills2025 · github.com · ▲172Hi all! I normally work on the PyTorch project but I've been on baby leave for the past month, so I've been playing around with AI as a user rather than a framework implementor. I really liked the agent experience with Claude Code, but I couldn't really justify spending so many dollars on API costs for random side projects. I already pay for a Claude Pro subscription though, and it turns out you can simulate many of Claude Code's features with an MCP. If you have a Pro subscription, check this out! I think it really captures the Claude Code experience quite well, without forcing you to pay…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
