RustAssist

Rust tools, live skin prices, and raid planning.

What it does

RustAssist is a free companion for Rust players who want reliable answers without keeping a dozen tabs open. Plan raids with exact explosive and sulfur costs, compare every target, explore item and world data, track current Steam skin prices and price history, check wipe schedules, and build a custom crosshair. The website works in English and Russian, and the free iOS app keeps the raid calculator close at hand.

    Maginet, a cross-platform strategy game with Rust/WebAssembly2023 · evrim.zone · ▲8

I hereby present my little tiny pet project that entertained me for the past six months. In this post, I briefly present Maginet and its technical components. It is a turn-based strategy game that is built using Rust and compiles to WebAssembly with HTML5 bindings, which works on mobile and desktop alike! It comes with many game mechanics and components, including an AI opponent and online cross-platform multiplayer. There is so much to discuss even for a project of a smaller scale, but I am nevertheless excited to share a little bit about how you can actually build a game in Rust,…

    Numax - a portable runtime for distributed appsJun 2026 · github.com · ▲6

Hi, over the past few months I've been working on this project: Numax is a small Rust runtime that does three things: it runs WebAssembly modules in a sandbox, has a built-in local key-value store, and syncs everything across nodes with CRDTs and gossip. Basically, you write a wasm module, run it on two machines, and they converge (I hope !). It's a decentralized system... I hope someone finds it interesting! There's a whitepaper I've put a lot into, and I think the code isn't bad either! I believe there's still room in this world for software that's fun and well made, and while building…

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
