What it does

During this COVID-19 pandemic, many local and indie bookstores are struggling to stay in business. With 100+ bookstores listed on the app, it lets your city's bookstores and support them by purchasing their gift cards.

A hands-on ProWritingAid review after 10+ years of use, including how it compares to Grammarly and where it actually works (and where it doesn’t).

And honestly, that’s fine. There are plenty of writers who just write, read it over once or twice, fix what they see, and move on. And if that works for you, great. You don’t need another tool (because goodness knows we have enough of them to juggle as it is). But on the other hand, there are writers who want a bit of a safety net. Something that catches the obvious stuff like misspellings, weird sentences, and things that just don’t read right. Basically, a second set of eyes before you hit publish. And then there are writers who actually want to get better at their craft. Not just fix mistakes, but understand the stuff they keep doing over and over again without realizing it.
