ScoutLoot
LEGO deal alerts only when it's genuinely below market price
What it does
ScoutLoot scans eBay and BrickOwl for LEGO sets priced below market value. AI filters junk listings in 7 languages. Shipping included in every price. Built solo by a filmmaker with zero coding background, using AI tools. What's different: we don't spam you with every listing. We only alert when a deal is genuinely below market price. Good deals take time — ScoutLoot watches so you don't have to. Free to start. No credit card needed.

- GAGet an email when the price drops on any product's URL. No spam2025 · lowlow.bot · ▲9
Hey HN, We built https://LowLow.bot, a website (no app or extension required) that tracks price drops and restocks on your favorite products — without the need to sign up for marketing emails. Inspired by https://camelcamelcamel.com for Amazon, we wanted the same experience for any website. Some ways people use it: • Big purchases, no rush – Buy ski gear when the price drops before next season. • Recurring essentials – My partner’s pricey sunscreen? I buy it when it’s on sale. • Holiday sales – Get notified before deals disappear. • Restock alerts – Be the first to know…

Hey HN, I built Underpriced AI to solve a problem I had as a part-time reseller: standing in a thrift store trying to figure out if something is worth buying. How it works: - Snap a photo of any item - AI identifies the brand, model, maker, era, etc. - Pulls recent sold prices from eBay and other marketplaces - Gives you an instant valuation with confidence score You can also generate SEO-optimized eBay listings and publish directly from the app. Tech stack: Next.js, Claude API for vision/analysis, eBay API for market research and listing. The "Quick Scan" feature is designed for mobile…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…
