Scriptmine

I built this for myself. I make videos, and my biggest bottleneck is figuring out what to say to my audience without staring at a blank page. So I built Scriptmine: a tool that listens to Reddit conversations in my niche, finds high-signal topics, and turns them into scripts. How it works: - Track subreddits and discussions relevant to a niche - Rank topics by engagement/momentum - Generate a hook/body/CTA draft in a chosen voice/format

Scriptmine launched on February 24, 2026 with 86 votes, #428 of 16,628 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches.

What it does

Scriptmine listens to your audience on Reddit to find trending topics. It turns those insights into daily, camera-ready video scripts so you never have to guess what to post again. Built for short-form creators who want to stop guessing and just hit record.

Turn trending Reddit conversations into TikTok, Shorts, and Reels scripts in 5 minutes. Real audience language, not AI slop. Free to start.

Stop scrolling for ideas. Scriptmine finds what's trending in your niche, turns it into TikTok, Shorts, and Reels scripts, and lets you record with a built‑in teleprompter. "Is cardio actually necessary for fat loss? I hate running." Here's what actually works: Focus on progressive overload. Cardio burns calories now, but muscle burns calories forever. Everyone thinks the key is running on a treadmill for an hour. But the people who... Everyone thinks the key is running on a treadmill for an hour. But the people who actually keep the weight off? They build muscle. Everyone thinks the key to losing weight is running on a treadmill for an hour. But the people who actually keep it off? Start…from scriptmine.ai

The tool actually hit Product Hunt #1 back in February. Since then I’ve added a bunch more on top of the original version. Now you just describe the intent or goal for the leads you want, and it searches based on keywords and a bunch of other signals to surface the best ones for you. I also added a Reddit-powered content writer. Basically, you pick a topic or category, and it pulls the top posts from Reddit, analyzes what made them go viral, and helps you write content using the same patterns. Reddit is super underrated for content. If something blows up there, it almost always spreads to…

I love Hacker News but I rarely have time to read full articles / comments, so I built a simple site to summarize the top posts & comments to make it easier to get a big picture. A few implementation details: - It pulls the top stories from the HN Firebase API (`/v0/topstories`) - Filters stories with >200 points - Uses Claude Sonnet for post + comment summaries - Tries to capture the sentiment of the comments (still working on improving this) - Refreshes both posts + summaries hourly It has already helped me I hope it helps you! Please let me know if you have any feedback --…

I built mention.click to help founders and marketers find real business leads, feedback, and opportunities by uncovering the right discussions on Reddit, without the hassle of keyword research. Backstory I was trying to prove ideas and products, I didn't like existing tools like ReplyGuy, Gummy search, while being cool, didn't work for me. I needed a specialized solution to find conversations where I could speak about my project, driven by AI (Not really) just filtering out extra noise. How it works You give a link to the website. mention.click uses AI to extract keywords and context. It…

I wanted to find a product idea to build. "Build things people want," right? So I thought, why not literally find people saying what they want? I wrote a script to collect thousands of Reddit posts where people are looking for a solution or complaining about a problem. Then I used GPT to filter out the noise and score each one based on how viable the idea seemed. Threw together a simple search interface so anyone can explore them. I was planning to build a more advanced paid version of this, but figured I'd share the raw version first to see if it's actually useful to anyone.

  • Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
