Search Is Back
Graph search on Facebook is back. Find anyone.
Search Is Back launched on December 1, 2015 with 202 votes, #97 of 3,505 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 10 years on.
What it does
Custom search for Facebook: Search by mutual friends, location, school, gender, sexual orientation, and who
Tip: If you want to search by text, choose Any posts instead of Friends or Friends of Friends. I'm a film director, and my company Everythingis|Film creates award-winning narrative film, documentary, and commercials. I created this site because it was something I wanted to use myself. After Facebook removed their graph search functionality, I thought it was important to open a conversation: we should be able to search through the data we put on the site. Note: Facebook is fickle, not everything will work forfrom searchisback.com
