What it does
Sentrilite: lightweight eBPF agent for Multi-Cloud infra Control-Plane. Traces process, file, and network; enriches with pod/container metadata; streams to a web UI with risk-scored alerts. Works on AWS, GCP, Azure, on-prem, with optional LLM insights.
Sentrilite is an infrastructure intelligence platform that continuously analyzes infrastructure activity across Kubernetes, VMs, and hybrid cloud. Two products in one agent: AI Governance (AI usage discovery, Shadow AI detection) and Cloud Cost Intelligence (tagless, workload-level cost attribution). Understand what changed, why, and what to do next.
Continuously understand what changed in your infrastructure, why it changed, and what to do next. Sentrilite continuously analyzes infrastructure activity to identify cloud cost drivers, AI usage patterns, Shadow AI, and operational risks across Kubernetes, virtual machines, and hybrid-cloud environments. AI Governance and Cloud Cost Intelligence, built on one continuously-observing agent. See where AI is being used across your infrastructure — approved or not. See where cloud spend originates, what changed, and why costs increased. You already have dashboards, metrics, and logs. What you lack is an explanation of what changed , why it changed , and its operational or financial…from sentrilite.com

Alaz: Open-Source, Self-Hosted, eBPF-Based K8s Monitoring2023 · github.com · ▲101Hello Everyone, I'm excited to introduce a new open-source observability platform and would love to hear your feedback. We are aware that there are lots of open-source/commercial tools out there. However, we believe that monitoring the clusters and extracting actionable insights requires deep know-how about the tools/domain. We mainly focused on this problem. - Alaz is an eBPF agent installed on your K8s cluster as DaemonSet. Thanks to eBPF, Alaz collects traces directly from Linux kernels. This means there's no need for sidecars, instrumentations, or service restarts. - The UI not…

The site hit #1 on HN about a year ago. Got enough traffic that I turned it into a proper API. What's there: - REST API — 35k products, manually filterable by category, free key, 60 req/min - CLI — npx anycrap random -c food - faker.js plugin — bundled, no API call, works offline - HuggingFace dataset — full 35k rows for ML/training https://anycrap.shop/developers

I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into! So, I started with embedding apps into the terminal because that is the easiest input/output (output is just utf-8 and I use the great `chafa` library for that, and I just read from stdin for the input). If you have any other ideas for cool Wayland compositors, let me know. I purposedly wrote 80% the app in Typescript to appeal to the most developers and…

Years ago I stumbled across a basic version of this concept and it stuck with me. I knew if I was ever going to take on such a project, it would need to be flawless, but without coding experience it was just another idea that would never happen. By the end of 2024, as AI coding tools exploded everywhere, I finally had a way to make it real. I started from zero knowledge and spent months collaborating with AI agents as a learning experience. Every pixel and every function went through me. The AI translated what I asked for into code, but every decision was human. I didn't use existing OS…
