What it does
Shakti360 Guardian is a privacy-first personal safety platform that helps people stay connected to trusted guardians during journeys, find nearby support, detect scam indicators, document incidents, and manage emergency readiness—without requiring permanent location tracking.
Personal safety tools often depend on continuous tracking, complicated setup, or vague AI predictions. Shakti360 Guardian provides practical protection while keeping the user in control. Unlike permanent location-sharing products, Shakti360 uses purpose-bound sessions. Sharing is intended to stop when a journey ends, and escalation remains deterministic and human-controlled. The platform never claims to guarantee safety or automatically contact emergency services. Python 3.14 dependency incompatibility: pydantic-core attempted a local Rust build and failed during Windows linking. I standardized the backend on Python 3.12 so compatible wheels install reliably. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers.
