In plain words

SharkClean MCP is a tool for remotely starting cleaning jobs through Model Context Protocol (MCP). It enables users to trigger their Shark cleaning devices from a distance, contributing to smart home automation. The tool is straightforward in functionality and designed for those building integrated smart home systems who want programmatic control over their cleaning equipment.

MCP server for SharkClean / SharkNinja robot vacuums — start cleanings, clean rooms, dock, and check status from any MCP client - a-funk/sharkclean-mcp

An MCP server for SharkClean / SharkNinja robot vacuums. Lets any MCP client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, etc.) start cleanings, clean specific rooms, send the robot home, and check status — agentically, in plain language. All commands go through SharkNinja's current cloud ("skegox") — the same backend the SharkClean app uses — so the robot behaves exactly as if driven from the app, with no hardware modification. Why not the Ayla cloud? The widely-used sharkiq SDK (and the Home Assistant Shark IQ integration built on it) talk to SharkNinja's legacy Ayla IoT cloud. Newer robots (Matrix, AI Ultra, Mach 2, the RV2500+ generation) have been migrated off Ayla onto the skegox backend. On Ayla…from github.com

https://github.com/mcp-shark/mcp-shark Site: https://mcpshark.sh/ I built MCPShark, a traffic inspector for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It sits between your editor/LLM client and MCP servers so you can: • See all MCP traffic (requests, responses, tools, resources) in one place • Debug sessions when tools don’t behave as expected • Optionally run “Smart Scan” checks to flag risky tools / configs

Large Language Models (LLMs) are powerful, but they’re limited by fixed context windows and outdated knowledge. What if your AI could access live search, structured data extraction, OCR, and more—all through a standardized interface? We built the JigsawStack MCP Server, an open-source implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that lets any AI model call external tools effortlessly. Here’s what it unlocks: - Web Search & Scraping: Fetch live information and extract structured data from web pages. - OCR & Structured Data Extraction: Process images, receipts, invoices, and handwritten…

The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

  • Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
