What it does
Silence Cut is a Chrome extension that detects and skips silent sections in YouTube videos. It analyzes audio levels in real time, and either jumps over or speeds through quiet parts. You can choose between skip and speed-up modes (2x–16x), adjust silence detection sensitivity, and enable music-only section detection. A built-in volume meter shows audio levels in the player, and a stats tracker displays how many skips occurred and how much time you saved per session.
