SimplyCodes
Verified, community-tested coupon codes that actually work.
SimplyCodes launched on June 17, 2026 with 5 votes, #2,466 of 22,647 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was not reachable when checked in September 2026.
What it does
We built a verification engine because coupon sites are broken. SimplyCodes exists for one reason: most coupon codes on the internet don't work, and nobody was willing to fix it. So we built a system that tests every code before you see it. Each one is vetted by automated checkout simulation, a community of real shoppers, and a live checkout. That's a 95% verified success rate across 500,000+ stores. When nothing works, we say so. No fake codes, no rankings you can pay for.

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
