In plain words
Single-Instruction (Subleq) Programming Game is an educational game where players learn to program using only one instruction: subtract and branch if less than or equal to zero. Designed for anyone interested in computer science fundamentals, it teaches how complex programs can be built from minimal operations. The game makes abstract programming concepts concrete and interactive, offering a hands-on introduction to low-level computing principles and assembly language logic.

SIC-1 is a free single-instruction (subleq) programming game. Neglect your personal life in pursuit of promotions and vague assurances of job security! Optimize your programs to rise to the top of the leaderboards! SIC Systems thanks you for your hard work! Now please return to your desk. It's an assembly language zachlike for everyone! New programmers will appreciate how few unique instructions there are to learn (just one!), and experienced programmers will appreciate how poorly suited this one instruction is for writing straight-forward programs. That was a really good game! Last level felt appropriately cool. (It was the only one where I didn't immediately have an idea for how to…from jaredkrinke.itch.io

Finally got around to making it and I think it turned out pretty cool. It’s a math search game that’s meant to help you practice your quick addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills. I’m hoping it’ll help people (even those like me who aren’t big on math) learn and increase their speeds. (There are also some settings you can enable to make the game harder) If you try it out, please let me know if you found it fun, if you have anything you’d like me to add, or if you…

I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there. I really recommend going through the list, it made my day. [0] "Could you share your personal blog…
