What it does

Ever wanted to slap your MacBook and have it scream back? SlapDash is a tiny Mac menu bar app that detects when you slap your laptop (via the built-in accelerometer) and plays a random scream. That's the whole app. Built for the moments when Slack pings won't stop, your code won't compile, or you just need to be heard. Adjustable sensitivity, custom cooldowns, bring your own sound packs. macOS 14.6+, M1 Pro or later. Free forever. Source code available if you want to peek under the hood.
