What it does

Soft Blackout is a privacy-first Chrome extension that lets you instantly hide text on any webpage. Whether you’re sharing your screen, taking screenshots, studying, or reading without clutter, it gives you full control over what stays visible. You can manually redact text or use Smart Redact modes that automatically mask content. Adjustable intensity levels, smart filters, and undo/redo let you experiment freely without breaking the page.
