SPICE simulation → oscilloscope → verification with Claude Code
I built MCP servers for my oscilloscope and SPICE simulator so Claude Code can close the loop between simulation and real hardware.

In plain words
This project provides MCP servers that integrate a SPICE circuit simulator and an oscilloscope with Claude Code, allowing engineers to simulate circuits, verify them against real hardware measurements, and iterate within a single workflow. It's designed for electrical engineers and hardware developers who need to bridge the gap between simulation and physical testing. The main advantage is automating the feedback loop between design simulation and hardware verification.

A demo combining LeCroy oscilloscope control, SPICE simulation, and Claude Code.
I have been experimenting with using Claude Code for hardware development over the past few weeks. I looked at some projects that use Claude similarly to how one would in software development: Write a prompt in natural language, let Claude create a circuit. I found it somewhat tricky to express what I want to build in plain English. It worked fine for trivial circuits but became difficult for more complex designs. I also realized that Claude Code really shines when it can get immediate feedback. So I tried a different approach: give Claude access to my oscilloscope and a SPICE simulator. This has become extremely valuable for validating SPICE circuits and models, embedded programming, and…from lucasgerads.com

Codemcp – Claude Code for Claude Pro subscribers – ditch API bills2025 · github.com · ▲172Hi all! I normally work on the PyTorch project but I've been on baby leave for the past month, so I've been playing around with AI as a user rather than a framework implementor. I really liked the agent experience with Claude Code, but I couldn't really justify spending so many dollars on API costs for random side projects. I already pay for a Claude Pro subscription though, and it turns out you can simulate many of Claude Code's features with an MCP. If you have a Pro subscription, check this out! I think it really captures the Claude Code experience quite well, without forcing you to pay…
Claudraband – Claude Code for the Power UserApr 2026 · github.com · ▲120Hello everyone. Claudraband wraps a Claude Code TUI in a controlled terminal to enable extended workflows. It uses tmux for visible controlled sessions or xterm.js for headless sessions (a little slower), but everything is mediated by an actual Claude Code TUI. One example of a workflow I use now is having my current Claude Code interrogate older sessions for certain decisions it made: https://github.com/halfwhey/claudraband?tab=readme-ov-file#s... This project provides: - Resumable non-interactive workflows. Essentially `claude -p` with session support: `cband continue…
- STSimple to build MCP servers that easily connect with custom LLM calls2025 · mirascope.com · ▲57
Hi! After learning about MCP, I'm really excited about the future of provider-agnostic, re-usable tooling. Unfortunately I've found that while it's easy to implement an MCP server for use with tools that support it (such as Claude Desktop), it's not as easy to implement your own support (such as integrating an MCP server into your own LLM application). We implemented a thin MCP wrapper that easily integrates with Mirascope calls so that you can hook up an MCP server and client super easily to any supported LLM provider. Excited to see what people build with this!

MCPGod: Fine-grained control over MCP clients, servers, and tools2025 · github.com · ▲37Hey everyone, I've wanted an easy way to control which mcp server tools are available to clients. So for example, I might want a gmail server to only expose the read tool (but not send, delete etc). I figured if I create a cli for spawning mcp servers, I could intercept the stdin, stdout, stderr etc and modify what the clients see when they are making calls to list tools, resources, and prompts. Well it worked! In the initial version you can easily add a server to claude with a safe list of tools: npx -y mcpgod add @modelcontextprotocol/server-everything --client claude --tools=echo,add…

Talanoa▲343Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
