stagewise
Hey HN, we're Glenn and Julian, and we're building stagewise (https://stagewise.io), a frontend coding agent that inside your app’s dev mode and that makes changes in your local codebase. We’re compatible with any framework and any component library. Think of it like a v0 of Lovable that works locally and with any existing codebase. You can spawn the agent into locally running web apps in dev mode with `npx stagewise` from the project root. The agent lets you then click on HTML Elements in your app, enter prompts like 'increase the height here' and will implement the changes in…

In plain words
Stagewise is a frontend coding agent that allows developers to visually build app interfaces directly in their browser on localhost. It works with any frontend framework and existing codebase, enabling developers to design and code their application frontend without leaving the browser environment. The tool is designed for developers who want a visual approach to frontend development while maintaining compatibility with their preferred frameworks and project setup.

Visually build your apps frontend right inside your browser on localhost. Compatible with any frontend framework and codebase.
Create and orchestrate powerful AI coding agents. Use any model, including frontier, open-weight, and locally deployed ones.
stagewise delivers an agentic coding experience built around the needs of developers. Access frontier and open-weight models through stagewise Cloud Inference, your own API subscriptions, or run them locally — no lock-in. The stagewise agent maximizes cache-hit rates and dynamically controls context — enabling long-running tasks at surprisingly low cost. stagewise is your command center for running agents in parallel — each implementing full features or fixing bugs independently. Use all popular models through your stagewise account, or connect any existing coding subscription. Run stagewise the way your team needs — on your infrastructure, with your models, under your control. stagewise…from stagewise.io

Stagewise (YC S25) – Front end coding agent for existing codebases2025 · github.com · ▲46Hey HN, we're Julian and Glenn, and we're building stagewise (https://stagewise.io), a frontend coding agent that lives inside your browser on localhost and operates on local codebases. Stage – Putting humans back in control of code reviewApr 2026 · stagereview.app · ▲130Hey HN! We're Charles and Dean, and we're building Stage: a code review tool that guides you through reading a PR step by step, instead of piecing together a giant diff. Here's a demo video: https://www.tella.tv/video/stage-demo-1pph. You can play around with some example PRs here: https://stagereview.app/explore. Teams are moving faster than ever with AI these days, but more and more engineers are merging changes that they don't really understand. The bottleneck isn't writing code anymore, it's reviewing it. We're two engineers who got frustrated with…

Notte Browser Agents2025 · notte.cc · ▲275Hey HN, We’ve been building browser agents for a while. In production, we kept converging on the same pattern: deterministic scripts for the happy path, agents only for edge cases. So we built Demonstrate Mode. The idea is simple: You perform your workflow once in a remote browser. Notte records the interactions and generates deterministic automation code. How it works: - Record clicks, inputs, navigations in a cloud browser - Compile them into deterministic code (no LLM at runtime) - Run and deploy on managed browser infrastructure Closest analog is Playwright codegen but: - Infrastructure…

Talanoa▲343Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript.
