Steppio
Walk to scroll. Lock the apps that steal your time.
What it does
Native screen time limits fail because they are too easy to bypass. Steppio replaces willpower with actual physical friction. It locks your most distracting apps and forces you to earn your screen time by walking. Every 100 steps equals 1 minute of access. What makes it different: • Real physical cost: You can't just tap "ignore limit." • Beast Mode: A strict, zero-override lock until you hit your daily step goal. • Streaks: Miss a day, drop to zero. Consistency is key!

We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
