Most people overestimate. A typical phone photo runs 2 to 5 MB, so 100 GB holds roughly 20,000 to 50,000 photos. Add a few thousand short videos and you're somewhere around 250 GB. Documents, music, and app exports rarely move the needle. A good rule: open the storage breakdown on your phone or laptop, look at what you've accumulated over the last five years, and pick the tier above that number.
