StudyRise launch
Smart homework planner built by a student, for students
What it does
**StudyRise — Smart Homework Planner for Students** 👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Thom, a 15-year-old developer from the Netherlands. I built StudyRise because I was frustrated with existing homework apps — they were either too complex or too simple. **What is StudyRise?** StudyRise is a smart homework planner designed specifically for students. It combines task planning, grade tracking, and study motivation in one clean app.

We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
