Sunchay
I love taking notes and capturing ideas wherever I can: Apple Notes, Chrome bookmarks, Twitter bookmarks, etc. But I could never find out what I had saved unless I remembered where I saved it. I wanted a tool that could not only help me capture ideas, but rediscover them later. That's why I decided to build Sunchay. The goal is to eventually have a system which understands the kind of ideas that I like to save, and formulates a graph of inter-related ideas that can be surfaced later. Almost like a distillation of coherent thoughts. I have this thought that I should be able to talk to my…

What it does
Sunchay is a calm place to save anything - links, files, notes, screenshots, voice memos - and actually find it later. You don’t need keywords; just describe what you remember and it shows up. Sunchay intelligently extracts metadata, connects related ideas together, and keeps everything organized without you needing to decide which note goes where. Use Ask Sunchay to search your saved knowledge like a conversation.
Sunchay is a memory you can text. Send links, screenshots, notes, and videos from WhatsApp or the browser. No folders, no filing. Ask in your own words and get it back.
Sunchay is a memory you can text. Send anything worth keeping from WhatsApp or your browser, then ask for it in your own words when you need it again. No-oven chocolate cake. Steams on the stovetop in 40 minutes. You remember it exists. You even remember how it looked. Where it went is another matter. Every app that promised to help asked you to file things first. Does a salary slip belong to finance, to work, or to the bank? Filing is a chore, and chores get abandoned. Sunchay never asks where anything should go. Saving takes one gesture, and finding takes nothing more than the words you would naturally use. Share to Sunchay on WhatsApp, or save from the browser with the extension. Links,…from sunchay.com

I built this tool to turn raw chats into clean, readable posts that can be shared publicly and indexed, without rewriting everything by hand. It’s meant for people who think a lot but don’t enjoy long-form writing, and want their ideas to compound instead of disappearing in chat logs. Happy to answer questions about how it works or why I built it.

Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
