What it does

Swimio combines AI coaching, advanced Apple Watch swim tracking, and personalized workout generation in one platform built specifically for swimmers. Create workouts tailored to your goals, follow them directly from your Apple Watch, track pace, SWOLF, stroke efficiency and heart rate, and get actionable performance insights after every session. Built for swimmers, coaches and teams who want more than a simple lap counter.

Swimio is an AI swim workout app for iPhone and Apple Watch, with personalized coaching, Smart Import, live pace guidance, and training insights.

Swimio builds the session from your recent training, or turns a photo of your coach's whiteboard into one, then guides it lap by lap on your wrist. With your permission, Swimio uploads completed swims recorded in Swimio. It never imports or analyzes your Strava activities. The builder and AI Coach sit on your phone; the set, send-offs and heart rate go to your watch; the splits come back when you're done. Build a session visually, ask AI Coach for the right set, or convert a text or whiteboard photo with Smart Import. Follow intervals, rest, pace targets, distance, and heart-rate zones live on Apple Watch without breaking your rhythm. Review effort, efficiency, heart rate, distance, and…from swimio.app

  • Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

  • Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
