Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment Simplified for Self-Employment and Landlords. TaxNav is HMRC-recognised software that makes this easy, affordable, and fully compliant, helping you save time, reduce your tax bill.

TaxNav is HMRC-recognised software designed to streamline your UK self-assessment tax process. Ideal for sole traders and landlords, it ensures compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements.

This replaces the old Self Assessment process. You won't be able to use the HMRC Gateway — you'll need MTD IT-recognised software like TaxNav. Quarterly updates are for reporting only. Your final tax bill is still paid at the end of the tax year. TaxNav is designed to be affordable for sole traders and landlords. Important: You'll need to sign up for MTD IT with HMRC first before you can complete onboarding with TaxNav. Enter transactions directly in TaxNav via your favourite device, or connect your existing spreadsheet using our import worksheet. TaxNav supports Excel.
