Telegram 2.0 for Mac

What it does

Download Telegram by Telegram Messenger LLP on the App Store. See screenshots, ratings and reviews, user tips, and more apps like Telegram.

Most 3rd party messaging apps do not work very well with CarPlay…if at all. The ability to text using voice while driving…not unlike talking to someone in the seat next to you… is a utility that, for me, is a big differentiator. Viber doesn’t do it; WhatsApp doesn’t do it. This alone makes Telegram more viable for me. Whether it is end to end as secure as iMessage, I do not know. But all my friends do not have iPhones, so this is useful for sure. Addendum: They need to tune this up for CarPlay use. It comes closer than others, but needs work. I can receive a message and answer it, however, I cannot start a message nor can I answer one unless I do it right after hearing it. CarPlay…from apps.apple.com
