Tera.fm
I got tired of doom-scrolling and skimming headlines that all blur together, so I built a small site that turns today’s tech and startup news into a calm, continuous radio-style stream. No playlists. No jumping tabs. You just press play and listen. It updates throughout the day and feels more like tuning into a station than consuming feeds. Curious if this kind of “news radio for the internet” makes sense or if it’s just me

What it does
Tera.fm turns the internet into a radio you can listen to. It fetches top stories from places like Hacker News, summarizes them with AI, pulls key viewpoints from the comments, and reads everything aloud in a natural voice. No login, no tracking, no feeds to scroll. Just press play and catch up while commuting, cooking, or working. A new way to consume the internet-> hands-free.
Browse current source-linked headlines and search Tera FM's historical news archive by date, source, topic, or keyword. Open the original reporting.
Browse the latest news headlines, search Tera FM's historical headline archive, or ask for a topic in everyday language. Every result sends you to the original reporting. Choose a publisher to see its latest source-linked headlines, or open the full current feed. Publisher names are shown for source identification. Tera FM is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publishers listed here. Ask about a topic, publisher, category, or time period. Tera FM searches its headline records and returns source-linked matches rather than generating a news answer. Ask about a topic, company, person, source or date. Tera FM will find relevant headlines and link you to the original reporting. Ask Headlines…from tera.fm
In the maker’s words, at launch
I wanted to catch up on tech news without staring at a screen. Built tera.fm - it reads HN stories aloud with summaries. Works like radio - just hit play and listen. Free to try, no login required. Curious if anyone else has tried audio-first news consumption.

I built a tech news aggregator that works the way my brain does2025 · deadstack.net · ▲188An honest to god, non-algorithmic reverse chrono list of tech news that passes my signal-to-noise tests, updated hourly. A lightweight a page design as I've been able to keep; simple, clean, fast. No commercial features or aspirations - this is a passion project, something I've been fooling around with on and off for decades. There's a "Top" view too with an LLM edited front page & summary, and categorized views for a large number of topics - see the Directory. A few more buried features to explore, but the fundamental use case is pop in, scan, exit - fast and concise. Your feedback would be…

A012025 · a01ai.com · ▲545Hey everyone, I feel like a lot of us have gotten used to social media as our main way to stay informed. It’s where we get our news, trends, opinions, and everything. But honestly, my attention has been wrecked by it. TikTok, X, Instagram... I go in to check one thing and suddenly I’ve lost 90 minutes. So I started wondering what if we could actually control what we see? Like, fully. What if we could own our feed instead of letting the algorithm choose what we scroll through? To play with that idea, I built a small demo app. You just type in what you want to follow, like “recent crypto big…

Community, All the HN belong to you. This is an archive of hacker news that fits in your browser. When I made HN Made of Primes I realized I could probably do this offline sqlite/wasm thing with the whole GBs of archive. The whole dataset. So I tried it, and this is it. Have Hacker News on your device. Go to this repo (https://github.com/DOSAYGO-STUDIO/HackerBook): you can download it. Big Query -> ETL -> npx serve docs - that's it. 20 years of HN arguments and beauty, can be yours forever. So they'll never die. Ever. It's the unkillable static archive of HN and it's…
