What it does
Measuring ingredients and tracking portions is tough for one person and even harder for a family. I built The Portions to help me & my wife. She loves cooking but hated the math of dividing food fairly between everyone. Now she just saves her containers once, adds the total cooked food weight, and the app instantly shows how much each person should take. It’s simple, mindful private. No logins, no tracking — just a small helper built with ❤️ to make family cooking easier.

Hi guys, I created this app to solve one of my own problems: I found calorie tracking to be a real pain. Now, instead of scanning barcodes, scrolling through lists, or taking photos of food, I just speak into my phone (or computer), tell Calorio what I’ve eaten, and it handles the rest. It uses OpenAI’s APIs to process audio and map foods to calories.
