What it does
Measuring ingredients and tracking portions is tough for one person and even harder for a family. I built The Portions to help me & my wife. She loves cooking but hated the math of dividing food fairly between everyone. Now she just saves her containers once, adds the total cooked food weight, and the app instantly shows how much each person should take. It’s simple, mindful private. No logins, no tracking — just a small helper built with ❤️ to make family cooking easier.

It’s free to use without an account, but if you want it to tally daily calories and remember everything you’ve eaten, you’ll need to sign up with your Google account and subscribe (you get 7 days for free). I would really appreciate any…
