The Regret Wall

The internet's anonymous confession wall.

What it does

We all have secrets, missed chances, or bad choices we keep inside. Holding onto that stuff gets heavy. I built The Regret Wall so people can just drop their regrets and move on. It is completely anonymous. No accounts, no names, and absolutely no tracking. Write your confession safely, or read the wall to see you are not the only one struggling. Just a raw, honest corner on the internet. Now let me know what you think. What is your biggest regret?

    I built sinkedin – a LinkedIn but for flauting failures and screwups2025 · sinkedin.app · ▲32

Hi HN, I saw joke online about wanting a version of Linkedin for failures. I thought it was a great idea, so I decided to build a simple version of it. Sinkedin is a place to post (anonymously) stories about job rejections, interview screw-ups and other carrer failures. Website: https://www.sinkedin.app/ Github: https://github.com/Preet-Sojitra/sinkedin I am not a designer, so the UI is very minimalistic. If it triggers your OCD, PRs are very welcome. The entire stack is running on free tiers, so please expect some latency if it gets any traffic. I wanted…

Recount - share your startup stories anonymously. We are not alone2013 · ▲14

There are times when we just can't have open and honest conversations with people about the things we're going through. Anything we say publicly gets added to our personal brand. Like bubs mentioned in this article/thread http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5270460, we can start to feel like we're alone. We don't have to be alone! Recount is a community project aimed at bettering the lives of startups everywhere, through anonymous sharing of our stories. Share your startup high-and-lows, experiences, funny / embarassing moments, things you learned, and even confessions of things you probably…

    My porn startup2013 · ▲21

Ever find good porn but can't get to it right away? What about something you really enjoyed, where do you save it? If you're like me, you don't want nsfw sites in your browsing history and especially not in your bookmarks. So I built http://xstashed.com/hn/ (clickable in comments) - a place to stash your nsfw links. While it's a minimal viable product, I do have a basic roadmap that can be viewed here http://xstashed.com/todo/. I just wanted to get this in the hands of potential users to get feedback early on. On the tech side of things I've built this thing nimble so that I can quickly…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
