ThinkDB – SQL Client, Smart Queries, and Virtual DBA Support
Hey HN, I've been on the lookout for a SQL client that ticks all my boxes and looks good, so I decided to build one myself. ThinkDB is a self-hosted, web-based SQL client with all the usual features like query execution and table browsing. But it also includes some cool extras – a smart conversation feature for generating SQL queries and chatting with a virtual DBA. You can hook it up to any OpenAI-compatible AI and connect to MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. I'll be around all day to answer questions and take any feedback you have.

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it.
