Thockly brings authentic mechanical keyboard sounds to any keyboard • System-wide sounds for keyboard, mouse clicks, and trackpad scroll • 12 keyboard switch profiles (linear, tactile, clicky, thocky) and 6 mouse profiles • Press and release sounds, spatial width, tone/volume tuning per profile • Low-latency playback; runs in the background with startup + system tray • Privacy-first: key codes for audio only, everything is local • Low ram and cpu consumption around 50MB Ram and <2% Cpu usage

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it.
