What it does
TIP (Trust Identity Protocol) is an open, federated, post-quantum standard for content creator identity and content provenance. As AI-generated media becomes impossible to tell apart by eye, TIP gives creators and platforms a cryptographic way to prove origin and ownership. Every post, image, article, or video carry a tamper-evident signature bound to a creator, one that survives cropping, copying, and re-sharing across the apps people actually use. Claim your content before anything else does.
TIP Protocol: open, federated trust infrastructure for the internet. Verify human identity with post-quantum cryptography, declare content origin (human or AI), and earn a deterministic 0-1000 trust score. Free for individuals, journalists, and nonprofits. Licensed under TIPCL-1.0.
TIP is a free, open protocol that lets real people prove their identity and label their content honestly - text, video, audio, images, podcasts, articles, and anything on the internet. The specification is open forever. Anyone can implement it. Anyone can run a node. No permission needed. Every TIP-signed work carries a cryptographic byline. Anyone can verify, in any browser, in under a second, that you made it. Your TIP-ID puts you in a public, federated registry of verified humans. One identity, every platform, every jurisdiction. Origin Code labelling and the CNA-2.2 perceptual fingerprint follow your work everywhere. Every copy, edit, and lookalike leaves a trace. BREAKING: EU AI Act…from theailab.org

Tiptap AI Suggestion2025 · tiptap.dev · ▲263We recently shipped the Tiptap AI Toolkit (https://tiptap.dev/docs/content-ai/capabilities/ai-toolkit/o...), which lets developers embed LLM-powered editing into rich text editors. Now we’re exploring the next step: making agents operate on documents without a browser involved. The idea is a server-side system where agents can read, write, and transform documents in real time — essentially treating your document layer as a programmable data store that agents can interact with directly. Internally we’ve been joking about the name “real-time agentic document…

Hi HN! My name is Nick and this is my fun side project. Please lay it on me. HN can think of Tips.io as a cracked out Tailwind Playground that has page management and amazing AI integration. There are a few core ideas: 1) The HTML is the CMS There are no fields or restrictions. Just hover, click, and start tweaking any HTML. Also, certain elements you click will have special easy edit abilities: - auto creates an uploader, stock photo picker (or HTML) - auto creates an uploader, stock video picker (or HTML) - auto creates a big icon picker (or HTML) - auto creates a WYSIWYG Editor (or HTML)…

Hey HN! We're building an open-source CMS designed to help creators with every part of the content production pipeline. We're showing our tiny first step: A tool designed to take in a Twitter username and produce an "identity card" based on it. We expect to use an approach similar to [Constitutional AI] with an explicit focus on repeatability, testability, and verification of an "identity card." We think this approach could be used to create finetuning examples for training changes, or serve as inference time insight for LLMs, or most likely a combination of the two. The tooling we're…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
