Interestingly, the inspiration to replicate TikTok came from an episode of the Acquired Podcast discussing Meituan. It seemed somewhat ironic to copy a Chinese app. I ran out of money to pay rent though, so I’m looking for jobs here in Sydney instead now. I want to keep working on this project in my spare time and would appreciate any feedback and particularly guidance for how to run an open-source project!
