What it does
Organize your notes as Markdown files. With native relationships, Git, and Claude Code integration. Free forever.
A second brain for the AI era. Free forever.
Organize your notes as Markdown files, with native relationships, Git, local agents, and direct AI model providers. Tolaria is supported by a small panel of tools that help keep the project healthy, tested, and ready for AI-assisted development. I use these tools every day. Quality and security checks that keep AI-assisted engineering accountable. Code Health insight for keeping technical debt visible and actionable. Reliable CI infrastructure for build, test, and release confidence, now also locally for agents. Engineering context that helps developers and agents understand the codebase. Every note is a Markdown file with a YAML frontmatter. No database, no proprietary format. Read them…from tolaria.md

Tolaria – Open-source macOS app to manage Markdown knowledge basesApr 2026 · github.com · ▲318Hey there! I am Luca, I write https://refactoring.fm/ and I built Tolaria for myself to manage my own knowledge base (10K notes, 300+ articles written in over 6 years of newslettering) and work well with AI. Tolaria is offline-first, file-based, has first-class support for git, and has strong opinions about how you should organize notes (types, relationships, etc). Let me know your thoughts!
Saner.AI2024 · saner.ai · ▲677Initially, we thought about this feature due to a bug in our chat interface. And surprisingly, I noticed that POE has just released the same feature. But the distinction is: with us the Multi-bot is designed to streamline the notetaking/working experience -> It allows user to search for external knowledge without switching context Though we are still in the beta phase, I would love to hear your thought/feedback on it :)

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
