TotemClock AI

Free attendance, time cards and timesheets

What it does

TotemClock AI is a free cloud attendance platform for small businesses. Calculate worked hours, breaks and potential overtime without signing up, or manage employees, clock-ins, time cards, timesheets and project hours in the free web app. Any existing phone, tablet or computer can become a shared time clock. Available in English, Italian, French and German, with no dedicated hardware or credit card required.

Calculate worked hours, breaks and overtime for free. When you need automation, use the free attendance, timecard and timesheet app.

Enter clock-ins and clock-outs, including decimal hours, and instantly get net work, regular hours and potential overtime. When you need to automate employees and whole months, the TotemClock AI app is free too. Enter clock-in, clock-out and unpaid break for each day. Get daily and weekly totals in hours:minutes and decimals. Set working times, break and weekdays once to fill the month automatically. Edit any row, add projects and notes, then print or export CSV. Convert 7:30 to 7.50 hours — or back again — with no formulas and no sign-up. Instantly find when your workday ends or how long a break lasted. Add a lightweight free calculator to a payroll, HR or company website. Visitors…from totemclock.com

Hey HN! I made TimeAnt because my dad needed a simple way to track his time at work and he didn’t like the other apps out there because they were too complicated or had way too many features. So, I built an app that just does the basics: track work hours, meetings, breaks, lunch and optionally lets you add notes - and that's it. It’s totally free, works both online and offline, and doesn’t require an account (but you can create one if you want). The goal was to keep it super simple and let you focus on tracking time without all the fluff. It also gave me a chance to learn Swift and build my…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

  • Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

  • I built slotstream, a way to run Qwen3.8-Flash-Next 4-bit on a low-memory mac starting from 16GB, a 125B parameter model that would need 100GB+ memory/RAM, thanks to expert-offloading/ssd-streaming. Easy to install/update, and mac-native using MLX and Swift. It ships with auto-mode, which makes a good tradeoff between memory usage and speed. I'll be implementing and porting the MTP module for speculative decoding next Local models really are the future of computing!
