Trackless Links Pro for iPhone/iPad/Mac
Built this because I was tired of sharing URLs full of tracking cruft. Safari extension for iOS and macOS that strips utm_*, fbclid, gclid, and 50+ other tracking parameters automatically. Runs entirely on-device with zero data collection. Also bundles CRED-1, a domain credibility dataset (2,672 flagged domains with 5 independent trust signals) that can warn you before visiting sources known for misinformation. Available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Trackless Links Pro for iPhone/iPad/Mac launched on November 8, 2025 with 11 votes, #906 of 9,796 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches.
What it does
This was a 'scratch your own itch' project. I just wanted to clean up messy URLs (utm_, fbclid_). But then I added a one-click Web Archive lookup. Then a full regex redirect engine (for old.reddit!). Then 'Tweaks' to fix sites that block copy-paste. It got out of hand. Now, it's Trackless Links Pro, a full power-user toolkit as a single Universal Purchase for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, all with iCloud Sync. To celebrate the launch, the app is discounted by over 50% this weekend!
Safari extension for iPhone, iPad & Mac. Strip tracking from every link, block cookie banners, clean URLs with Siri Shortcuts, watch YouTube in Picture-in-Picture, and get Source Credibility warnings powered by CRED-1. 100% on-device, zero data collection. - aloth/trackless-links

Clean Links2025 · apps.apple.com · ▲13Hey HN, A couple of months ago, my brother and I built a little macOS cli app for ourselves. The idea was to remove tracking parameters from share urls from Instagram, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, Tiktok, etc. Also, URL shorteners. A bit later, after seeing a lot of "quishing" attacks here in Ireland, we ported it iOS and added support for scanning QR codes and previewing (and expanding) URLs from QR codes. This is something the iOS camera app doesn't do. Today, we've released it on the App Store. It's completely free and also free from tracking, analytics, ads etc. It…

AppDeskMar 2026 · appdesk.dev · ▲90Every morning I'd open App Store Connect in Safari, enter my password for the millionth time, then wait 8 seconds for the dashboard to load and continue fumbling around for what I needed. Everything took too many clicks and way too long to load. I did this for years and got tired of it. Good thing Apple provided API access for all this data. So I finally built the app I wanted, just the way I liked. Fast, keyboard-friendly navigation, data syncs and gets stored only on the local device. Meet AppDesk — a native macOS client built with SwiftUI for App Store Connect. Everything runs locally —…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
