In plain words
Transactional Outbox Pattern in Go is a Go library that implements the transactional outbox pattern for reliable message publishing. It helps developers ensure that database transactions and message sends stay in sync, preventing lost messages when system failures occur. The library is designed for engineers building distributed systems who need guaranteed message delivery alongside database commits. It provides a straightforward implementation of this established architectural pattern.

I wanted to build a persistent message queue based on SQLite, because that's what I'm using for my main state anyway. This gives me ACID across state and messaging, which is nice! I've been inspired by the terminology of AWS SQS for this, but it's obviously much simpler. Maybe you can use it too. :)
I made a CMS that uses Git to store your data2022 · outstatic.com · ▲203I'm excited to finally launch Outstatic, an open source static website CMS that doesn't require a complicated setup or signing up to a third-party service! You can access the documentation here: Outstatic Documentation. I invite you to start by deploying our example blog to Vercel and giving it a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy and fun it is to use Outstatic. Please, let me know what you think. This is the first public version of the project and all feedback is welcome. If you dig the project feel free to leave a star on Github. I appreciate your support!

Almost eight years ago I launched an online “Linux sysadmin course for newbies” here at HN. It was a side-project that went well, but never generated enough money to allow me to fully commit to leaving the Day Job. After surviving the Big C, and getting made redundant I thought I might improve and relaunch it commercially – but my doctors are a pessimistic bunch, so it looked like I didn’t have the time. Instead, I rejigged/relaunched it via a Reddit forum this February as free and open - and have now gathered a team of helpers to ensure that it keeps going each month even after I can’t…
