TruTalk - Intentional Conversation App

Skip the small talk. Get to the good part.

What it does

TruTalk - hand-written conversation cards, wrapped in a quiet ritual. Most conversation apps hand you questions and leave you there. TruTalk is different: every card is hand-written and neuroscience-informed, living inside a calm, intentional ritual that helps you arrive at depth instead of forcing it. Because depth has an order. Choose a deck - couples, friends, or teams - take turns, and let the prompts carry you past small talk into something real. Free on the web. Just open it and start.

Hand-written conversation cards for couples, friends, and teams — wrapped in a quiet ritual. Free on the web, no download. Move beyond small talk, into depth and presence.

Hand-written, neuroscience-informed questions, dealt one card at a time — from hello to the conversation you'll still be talking about tomorrow. Free · No download · The first question is sixty seconds away. A library of cinematic conversation modes. A full-screen ritual experience. One question at a time, paced like a deep breath. Ten rituals, five free, five premium. Pick by mood, room, or relationship. Solo, two of you, or a circle of seven. TruTalk paces the prompts to fit. Full-screen. One question at a time. • Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…

 • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
