UI for SSHFS
This tray-based program can be used to manage SSHFS mounts for remote servers. It was built out of a need to browse my self-hosted servers (and connected HDDs); managing the state for multiple SSHFS connections as well as avoiding system-hanging bugs on MacOS was becoming tedious. This is early software still, please use at your own risk and share any feedback. Github: https://github.com/thekashifmalik/sshfsui

What it does
sshfsui is a tray-based program. It can mount remote filesystems to local mount points which let’s you interact with remote files as if they were stored locally. All changes to files are synchronized transparently in both directions. This is done using SSHFS under the hood. You can manage multiple targets. Each target has a name (needs to be file-safe) and related config: Once set up you can connect/disconnect to the target path using the tray menu. SSH keys must be set up in advance on target hosts. Password authentication is not supported at this time. Download and run the installer for your OS and Architecture from Github . Note : This software is not yet stable; there may be…from sshfsui.com

ServerBuddy – GUI SSH client for managing Linux servers from macOS2025 · serverbuddy.app · ▲42Hi HN, I've built an app for macOS that allows performing common SSH operations on Linux servers using a native GUI. The problem: Managing multiple Linux servers usually means juggling terminal windows and copy-pasting snippets/scripts. After dealing with tens of production/staging VPSes at previous jobs, I realized there had to be a better way for common operations I did on a daily basis than my collection of bash snippets. Features: - Quickly switch between different servers. Tag servers with arbitrary key values for easy search. - Real-time dashboard with CPU/memory graphs,…
- LSLists.sh – A Microblog for Lists2022 · lists.sh · ▲271
Greetings, creator here! I've been working on a new blogging platform specifically for lists on and off for a few months now and I'm excited to officially announce its launch. After seeing https://charm.sh a few months ago, I've been enamored by the idea of SSH apps. I decided that a blogging platform focused on developers could be the perfect use case for an SSH app. Also, I love writing lists. I think restricting writing to a set of lists can really help improve clarity in thought. The goal of this blogging platform is to make it simple to use the tools you love to write and…

Infat – Declaritive application assocation manager for macOS2025 · github.com · ▲94Bello! Made this to help navigate the tumultuous process of navigating to a new machine on Mac when you have a number of custom utilities setup for editing particular files. This is designed to make that as easy as possible, and add some magic on top of that, like setting mailto handlers or anything else of that breed. Use XDG_CONFIG_HOME to keep it organized. Credit to https://github.com/moretension/duti for the original inspiration for the project. Happy to answer and help with whatever.

SpacePigeonNov 2025 · github.com · ▲93I switch between a few different “modes” on my Mac every day (work, coding, meetings, personal stuff). Each time I’d end up reopening the same apps and dragging all the windows back into the right Spaces. Super repetitive and honestly kind of annoying. So over the past few weeks I hacked together a small open-source tool called SpacePigeon that basically remembers your whole workspace and puts everything back where it was. Things it can do: Save your current layout (apps + windows + Spaces) Restore it with one click or a hotkey Keep separate presets (like “Work”, “Coding”, “Meetings” etc.)…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
