Unnecessary Inventions solves real world problems that do not exist by designing & creating products that no one is asking for. Step into the unnecessary mind of designer Matt Benedetto.

Unnecessary Inventions is the ongoing creative practice of designer Matt Benedetto. Working out of The Ui Studio in Burlington, VT, he builds physical and digital products that solve problems no one is asking him to solve. The inventions have appeared in every major news outlet, on stages across three continents, and inside several Spirit Halloween stores he wasn't paid for. Sign up for some unnecessary emails.
