Unutma

Your private life organizer — no ads, no cloud, no nonsense

What it does

Hi! I'm the maker of Unutma, and I'm not even a developer. I'm a dad who got tired of apps that demand your data just to set a reminder. So at night, with AI, I taught myself to build the private organizer I always wanted. Everything stays on your phone: no accounts, no cloud, no tracking. v3.0 adds on-device voice notes, secure local backup, 12 themes and 8 languages. A calm tool that does exactly what you need. 7 days free, no account. Built in public, ask me anything!

    I made a privacy friendly and simple app to track my menstruation2024 · play.google.com · ▲732

Hey HN, after the app I actually used to track my period wanted me to log in and save my data in the cloud, I decided to write my own. Most apps in this area are based on a subscription model and display far too much information anyway. For me, a simple calendar is enough where I can add a few notes if necessary. So that is the result of my work - a simple design and the data is only saved on the smartphone.

    My implemented vision of a PIM2018 · ▲53

Hi one and all. I've created an encrypted personal organizer I wish to share with you all. I know.... you are sighing and thinking "Oh! No! not another one". doogiePIM is different in that it's built by the same coder that created one of the very first PIMs that came out around 18+ years ago and creator of TexNotes way back then (it was actually called Scribillo. Wow, I feel old). The original PIM was sold then abandoned by GemX Software and that made me feel really bad. So, I obtained the full code and started to build a far better version of the information manager. One that will…

Memoly, a subscription manager app built without code2020 · ▲8

Hey HN community, I'm Sebastian, a Product Manager/Designer/Maker. I'd like for anyone with an idea to build and validate something quickly. I got into the #nocode thing earlier last year and wanted to see what's possible with the tools out there today. Over the last few months, I spent a lot of late nights and weekends on my side project. I'm very proud to present the result today. Meet Memoly (https://memoly.app). It's built entirely without code. To achieve my goal, I used this tech stack: Adalo, Zapier, Airtable, and Carrd. Memoly is available for iOS and Android. I…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
