In plain words
Vemos is a Chrome extension that adds video call features directly into streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Hulu, and Disney Plus. It enables users to watch movies and shows together remotely with friends using WebRTC technology, similar to video conferencing tools. The extension integrates the calling functionality seamlessly into the streaming platform itself, eliminating the need for separate applications during virtual movie nights.

From the sources
Vemos is a Chrome extension for making virtual movie nights with friends so much better. It uses WebRTC to bring Zoom-like call functionality right into your favourite streaming services: Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Hulu, and Disney Plus
Virual movie nights made easy!
Vemos uses peer-to-peer technology for its video calls; that means the limit for how big your group can be is based on how good your internet connections are. Vemos keeps the video synchronised between everyone in the group. If one person pauses, it pauses for everyone; if one person changes time, it synchronises for everyone. Vemos is written in Javascript using Peer.js to handle the video calls and schronisation, and Ember.js for the UI. If you'd like to help out, or if you've found any bugs, please check out the project on Github. . I built Vemos back in 2018 when my girlfriend went travelling so that we could feel together despite being apart. Since then, with Coronavirus causing people…from vemos.org

But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

https://github.com/OlexG/finclaw ^ repo if anyone wants to contribute. I realized that sometimes I'm pretty good at making random guesses about the future. (I.E, I think OpenAI will beat Anthropic in the short term, etc...) However, I'm bad at converting these guesses into actual market plays I can profit from. As such, I wanted to make a tool that connects to the right APIs and launches a swarm of agent experts to generate related plays based on your prediction. The very first super shitty V0 MPV just has Polymarket/Kalshi bets, but I will be adding a more complex…
