Verifact
Community-verified news. No editors, no bias.
What it does
Verifact is a community-driven fact-checking app. Anyone can submit a news claim — AI runs an instant credibility check on the source and claim type, then the community votes True, Fake, or Not Sure. Final verdicts blend AI confidence (40%) with weighted community votes (60%). Voters build reputation over time, so accuracy earns more influence. No editors. No hidden algorithm. Built ahead of the 2026 midterms as a neutral alternative to traditional fact-checkers.

- H6Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481
Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
