What it does

Coding agents are incredible, we use them every day. But the current wave of AI tooling has mostly handed engineers faster ways to yolo code into production. The focus has been on creation, not on the process that makes creation reliable: question, plan, execute, review. There's a big difference between "rebuild Slack for me" and "solve this bug in one of these 16 repos, undocumented and impossible to reproduce." We're building something better, and we just raised $1.23M in pre-seed funding from Freestyle Capital, Vermilion Cliffs Ventures, and angels to do it. Wallfacer creates persistent development environments for AI agents: dedicated workspaces so agents can do their best work, you can…from wallfacer.ai

AI changed the way we code, but we're still using the old processes, and we've become the bottleneck, the AI is waiting for us - to reply, to open our laptops, to review the code, and so on. We're building the future of AI software development. The agents are autonomous, they run in sandboxes, automatically fix the pipelines, and deliver you the final, working code. You can use live preview to see the changes they made. Working across multiple repositories, all within the same session. This is the future - you don't need an IDE, and you don't have to run anything locally.

Hi HN, We just launched Blocks - an AI platform where anyone can build custom work apps and AI agents in minutes, no coding required. We’re seeing a shift in how software is built and used. With AI, software isn’t just about tracking processes anymore - it can actively help people get work done. The problem is that most teams still face 2 options: either buy off-the-shelf tools that never quite fit, or invest a lot of time and money into custom development. Neither works well. Blocks is the third option. It’s an AI-native platform where teams can create apps and AI agents for their workflows…

When we asked developers from large engineering teams, almost everyone is using Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot. But adoption is still inconsistent. Some of us would have 15 agents running in Claude Code at the same time; some would still refuse to use any of them and write code manually. There's a fragmented AI development problem: - Five developers building similar features, and all of them start from scratch - No way to share "here's how we prompt AI to follow our architecture" - No trail of how the AI changes were generated - People leave the company, so does the their knowledge Aviator…

Now that AI is capable of writing large volumes of production-quality code, our role as developers is changing. Our primary job is no longer writing code. It’s planning and communicating software design and architecture. We have to do this collaboratively with agents and then review and iterate on their implementations. IDEs were not built for this workflow. So about three months ago I decided to try to build what I thought this new interface should look like. Runner is a coding agent purpose-built for this new “plan and review” workflow. It’s not for vibe coding. It’s for professional…

  • Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
