We made a photo search engine for homes for sale
We're a small team of 3 engineers, and wanted to make a better way to look for for properties online. Traditional portals (esp. outside of US) are just a bit rubbish for doing anything other than basic searching. So we've: - Created a crawler that reads through estate agents websites to find homes for sale - Parses that through a series of LLMs and other models to understand each home in depth (e.g. floor type, location, total sqft) - Parses every photo through an embeddings vector space so that people can search for whatever they want. Check it out: https://jitty.com Currently…

In plain words
A photo search engine that helps people find homes for sale in the UK by searching property listings visually. The tool crawls estate agent websites, uses AI models to extract details about each property, and lets users search by specific visual features like "church conversions" or "libraries with ladders" rather than traditional filters. Built by three engineers, it currently covers home sales in the UK only.

A website that heatmaps your city based on your housing preferences2025 · theretowhere.com · ▲321For the past few months, I've been working on a website that answers two different questions: - Where in my city have the best travel times to all the things and people I care about? - Given a listing, how far is it from all the things and people I care about? Personally this was fueled by my own frustrations when I was apartment hunting in NYC. I was frustrating to have to juggle so many Google Maps tabs when I was evaluating a listing, and it was also annoying to not have full confidence that I was even searching in the right places. I wanted to be close to work, a Trader Joe's, and a…
- PAPaste a Zillow URL and get a property analysis2025 · trymasterkey.com · ▲23
Hey HN, I love scrolling through Zillow and spend way too much time thinking a property is gonna be my next home just to find a couple of days of research later what’s the catch. I built this property analyzer to get a quick overview of “the good, the bad, and the ugly” (love spaghetti westerns) for the property. In ~30-45s you get a pretty comprehensive analysis of the history, risks, and everything else about the property, on top of a short AI-generated podcast going over the details. Users can also comment on properties (a feature I always wish I had on Zillow) and guess the final sale…
A new search engine for finding leads2024 · singulatron.com · ▲37Hey folks, There has been some talk about search engines here so I thought maybe I'd share a new project I'm working on. Built it partly to help me sell my own projects. Still a lot of work to be done but would be happy to get feedback. Very early phase so don't trust your life with it. Cheers --- Edit: if anyone needs a free/no CC account just DM me on https://www.linkedin.com/in/crufter/
