What it does

Web QR Code is a local-first Chrome extension that turns the current page into a QR code in one click. It helps you move links from desktop to phone, share resources in meetings, and export clean QR assets as PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG without sending page data to a server.

Paste a webpage link and generate a scannable QR code instantly.

The extension reads the active tab directly and adds right-click entry points, keyboard shortcuts, and richer export controls. Generate a QR code for the current page or selected text directly from the browser context menu. Open the popup faster with the built-in shortcut and keep the sharing flow close to your normal browsing rhythm. Export QR assets as PNG, JPG, WEBP, or SVG depending on where the image needs to go next. It is useful when I need to move a page to my phone or a meeting screen without signing in or opening a heavier tool.
