What it does

What If? HQ is a Q&A platform for asking questions. It also a wide variety of questions and the ability to receive an answer from another community member. Users are sorted into levels by the amount of questions and answers they have written. They also receive points based on the quality of the answers.

Hey HN! I’m excited to show you my app that lets you learn any topic in a structured, bite-sized way. Each lesson has an audio version, some visuals, and interactive quizzes. They’re personalized to your background and goals, and you can pick a concept inside a lesson and ask it to go deeper. When my co-founder was at NotebookLM, he realized the biggest bottlenecks in learning are that people don’t have time or feel like they’re not smart enough. Link to sign up: http://quora.com/hackernews Quora is a question and answer site focused on getting really high quality, authoritative content on any topic that people are interested in. One way to think about it is as a cache for the research that people compile by searching the web or asking others. The feeling you get when you see a Wikipedia article and you think "Oh, that's going to have all the information I want about that" is the feeling we want to create…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
